Why Independent Advice Matters
Some premium paint companies offer colour consultations, but they naturally only recommend their own paint ranges. We're completely independent, which means we can guide you to the best colours AND the best paint brands for your specific needs.
Not all paints are created equal. Some are notoriously difficult for touch-ups, leaving a patchwork effect when marks are repaired - particularly problematic in high-traffic areas like hallways, kitchens, and children's rooms. We'll advise not only on the colours best suited to your space, but also which paint brands will perform well for how you live.
The Process
Your colour consultation begins with a free 30-minute discovery call where we discuss your project and goals. If we're a good fit, we move into the consultation itself:
Step 1: Understanding Your Style (30 minutes)
We discuss your colour preferences and inspiration, how you want each room to feel, your existing furniture and pieces, and your lifestyle and practical needs.
Step 2: Lighting & Space Assessment (30 minutes)
We assess natural light direction and quality, artificial lighting in each room, room size and proportions, and architectural features to highlight or minimise.
Step 3: Colour Development (30 minutes)
We create room-by-room colour recommendations, cohesive flow between spaces, balance of bold and neutral, and specific paint and wallpaper suggestions.
